writes: ill get straight to the point;how do i overcome my shyness? im a big worrier i worry about everything, i get anxious easly and have no confidence in my self, i have had counselling befo when i was 16 im now 18, im always finding parts of my body im not comfrotable with, i over come one i find another.how do i resolve all these problems? please help, some advice would be much appreciated (im male, 18 and english btw)thanks :)

Your shyness actually goes hand in hand with confidence. It's the flip side of the coin. But confidence is definitely important in today's society. And though it's a very deep subject, I think that I could provide some tips that I think would be helpful...
1. Realize what you're good at. Have you ever noticed that when you're doing something that you enjoy or like to do, you're comfortable in your ability to get it done. Well that's confidence. Give yourself a mental boost by acknowledging all of the stuff that you DO well.
2. Read confidence builder books/articles. This can go more in depth about this subject. You should gain valuable tips that would help you become more of a confident person.
