How do I make things right?

So I'm throwing my best friend a birthday party so i told every one about it... one of his friends started writing me about it and asked me if i can text him more about it.But now my best friend is mad at me for giving him my number cause i guess his friend only did it to prove he cld get my number and is now rubbing it in his face... so now he/best friend is mad at me cause he did warn me about the guy being a man whore but i honestly just thought it was about his bday....So what can i do to make him not mad at me no more???? i asked him and he said he doesnt know and i should figure it out
