reader, anonymous, writes (1 March 2007): The best way is plenty of exercise and eating nothing but the best food. No rubbish. I did two days detox per month, just juiced veg and fruit and it certainly kick started the weight loss. I also got a sit up machine and did 100 per day. It works in the end but it takes some time to kick in.

To tone up your chest combine aerobic exercise (about 30 minutes three times a week) with certain stretches. The one I use (as a woman but would probably work for you too) is to stand facing forwards and make a fist, then punch the air in the direction of the two corners of the room in front of you. Do it with each arm about fifty times and you should see firming up in time!

Sounds like you've hit a fitness plateau - try doing different exercise routines to the ones you have been doing so far.

reader, anonymous, writes (1 March 2007): depending on your workout depends on if you are loosing weight or you are getting musle as this is heaver than fat so workingout lifting weights etc wont make you loose weith just make you body more toned if you want to loose weight you need to look towards what you eat and take regualr fitness excersices like walking and jogging. the are a whole array oor machines in a gym to help you loose weight but avoid the weights at first or you wont notice any weight lossp.s. sorry for any spelling mistakes, neva really been able to spell
