My sister is the head chef and they needed some help so I just do a little a work as a hostess when they need me along with a couple of friends from my high school. It's a fine job, not too much work, and I like being there. Lately, the "head waitress"/floor manager has been treating me differently--or I guess it seems that way to me. She's always "petting" me. She'll walk by on her way to a table and rub my arm or she'll grab my elbow or shoulder whenever she's talking to me, and she is always tucking my hair behind my ear or running her hand down the back of my head. She's one of those people who calls everyone "hun" or "sweetie" almost anytime she addresses them, so I know she's a friendly and affectionate person to everyone, but my friends say she's never touched their hair or back like she seems to be touching mine. The thing is, she's 22, can be a total bitch, and sometimes makes me feel uncomfortable, but I definitely have a thing for her. The last time I went into the restaurant to eat, she would touch me whenever she came back to the table to check on us and now I can't stop thinking about her.How can I decide if the way she's treating me is just normal behavior for her or something different? How can I find out if she's interested in me? How can I show her I'm interested in her without out right saying it? Reply to this Question Share |
