I think he has an idea that I like him because I smile, then blush when he's around, and finally look down and away from him. When I do this, I've noticed that he purposely comes up to me and talks to me (just to see me squirm). How do I take it to the next level without seeming too forward or easy? Try to spend as much time with him as you can.A guy usually knows that a girl wants more if she's making an effort to be around him and flirting usually works.Just do small simple things to keep his attention on you.The more time you spend together, the more he'll end up saying what you wana hear.
Good luck.

Well if you think he's not going to ask you then ask him. But you want to make sure you don't appear 'easy.' So think of somehere very innocent to go, like a Sunday afternoon event, and ask him very nicely if he would mind being your companion for the afternoon.

The only other way to let someone know that you like them without actually asking them is by way of flirtatious gestures. One of the strongest is probably eye contact, catch his eye and hold contact for as long as you can before smiling and looking away. Find excuse's to touch him, maybe his hand, his arm, or his leg. Always point your body in his direction, and laugh at things he says. Keep this up for a while, then after a couple of weeks if you feel the flirting is being reciprocated then ask him if he fancies doing something one weekend, that is if he has not already asked you.
Hope it goes well x
