How do I get rid of this "shadow" from shaving?

I recently have started shaving 'down there' but noticed that there is always a sort of shadow left, even if I do a really good job when shaving.

I just wondered if this is normal and if not how I can get rid of it.

Thanks.

I use hair removal cream, and i swear by it.

I was cautious at first since i wasnt keen on any sort of side effectsdown there eg itching burning etc

but there was none at all! i used the one for sensitive skin and the aloe vera in it leaves ya all smoooooth and soft :] [the sensitive skin one isnt so harsh either]

so yea, hair removal cream = smooth, soft, no shadow ;D

katatonik agony auntYou can't, not by shaving anyway. As the other poster said, you might try waxing. If you've ever had your eyebrows waxed, think about what that felt like and then imagine the same sensation spread over a larger and even more sensitive area. You might want to stick it out with the shadow =P

I'd be cautious if you do use a depilatory cream or spray and make sure you read the label COMPLETELY before doing so. Many of those products, if not all of them, aren't recommended for use on sensitive skin such as your face or "down there" and will actually cause mild chemical burns on your skin if you use them on those spots. Good luck =]

thatgothgirl20 agony auntIt's normal.

Maybe try a bikini wax instead of shaving? Caution though, this will hurt really badly. They also have those sprays that spray away hair, but I am not sure if these could irritate down there or what.

Best wishes,

Amanda
