I said yes and ever since we've been seeing each other. He's the perfect guy, treats me well, there when I need him brilliant with my child. So I bet your asking what's the problem... he's too perfect! I'm insecure and I've explained this to him and yet he always makes allowances for me, I'm trying really hard to just "be happy" but I can't seem to let myself just be happy! I've thought long and hard about it and I honestly don't know what's the problem. He's my first "proper" boyfriend so it's not like I've been hurt in the past! Has anyone else been in this situation and if you have how did you get over it and just be happy?

Hi
All I can say is imagine life without your boyfriend in it. Or worse one that drinks or is abusive.
Pinch yourself because you have everything going for you and yes, it's real. Your still getting to know this boyfriend, adjusting to having him in your life, so just enjoy him, your child and thank your lucky stars you have them both.
Perhaps you need to look at other areas of your life, job, friends and family.See if there is something there that isn't quite right.
