writes:so yesterday I met the band member i've had a crush on for years, based purely on his appearance, but meeting him yesterday he was one of the most amazing, kind and funny people i've ever met, and I was really taken by him! i use the term celebrity loosely, he's not really really famous or anything. but i hung out with him for a while and really started to like him in the same why i'd start to like any other guy, but it's really hurting me that i know there is absolutely no way anything would come of it, even though i'll be seeing his band again in a few weeks. i really need to get over it, because it's making me feel so upset. I know i sound like a pathetic fan girl, but he really made an impression on me. so how can i get over a celebrity crush?no sarcastic answers please, and don't say to meet some guys in my area or anything - i'm not looking for a relationship, but i'm feeling embarrassingly heartbroken by this band guy :(

 How do you know you have no chance with him? Have you tried? Okay so you probably feel because he is in a popular band that he has girls falling at his feet and that you have no chance, but it is still worth trying is it not just to make sure? If you don't try you will never know, so if there is another time where you get to hang out with him, take the opportunity and ask him would he like to go out some time, if he says no well then you no then that you have no chance, it will give you closure and with time it will feel loads better than it does now.
