How do I express my feelings to her?

dear cupids, Iam almost 19 now and falling in love is common at these stages. The same happened with me. this girl entered in my life as an angel. she is awesome. whenever she is around ,my world goes upside down. I think she too likes me as many times I caught her staring at me and whenever she talks there is a smile on her face. I want to express my feelings for her but the problem is Iam afraid of negative response from her. So please guide me how to convince her.
