My ex boyfriend broke up with me a month ago because he didn't like me anymore, (but there was also lots of rumors around saying his friend who's a player, that played my best friend, told him to dump me because being single is better and you can do anything). He decided this a week I was gone on vacation. We spent the time together the day before I left and everything was perfect. we only have gotten in one fight before that because we never got to hang out for a while and that's it. We go to the same school and we really close friends before we dated. Now that we broke up it makes this really awkward and hard for me. Especially when his friends don't like me.

He keeps saying he wants to be friends and texts me still like were still together, but it's too hard. We always fight bwcause it hurts me... And I don't know how to stop. I deleted him off Facebook, my phone, msn etc. But at school he talks to me and it just is hard to ignore him because I still like him and talking to him so I cave in. He's completely changed into his friends and not the guy I thought he was which makes it harder for me to because they always insult me whenever I see them or make rude remarks on how I look and say. And whenever we fight he tells them what I say. I know I shouldn't be saying stuff and backfiring in the first place, which brings me to square one: How do I stop with all this and ignore him?

But it's quiet hard because hes kind of like my bothers close friend. (their in grade 11, I'm in 10) and since or school is small we have lots of shared classes together. We we broke up my brother, and another close friend were so pissed at my ex and I'm glad I have friends like them but how do I do this with seeing him everyday?
