How do I decide between the two of them??

well i really like my ex boyfriends best friend but my ex still likes me because when i broke up with him i tryed to make it easy by saying "we rushed into things and i think we should get to know each other better and then go back out if it all works out" and that was a really really bad mistake :( and if i go out with his best friend it might brake there friendship but its hard for me to let go because his bestfriend always flirts with me not being cocky but you can tell and he likes me he practicly told me..? what do i do :( :'(
