How do I come to terms with what they said about me behind my back?

Question - (7 December 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 8 December 2009)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

How do you forgive somebody that has made fun of you in the past, someone that you like a lot and you weren't really surprised because they called you it to your face before. This time though they said it behind your back to like three friends and you're sure they laughed when they said it. Do you forgive them and try to forget? or do you accept the terms that this person may never grow up?

Tell that person what they are doing has bothered you so much that youve put a post about it here! Show them your question. Sometimes people think somethings funny but when they can physically see how much it is hurting another, its a huge reality check for them and can change their behaviour.
