To choose to take a risk or to stay safe.
But it sounds to me your relationship with Kirstie isn't safe at the moment. All good things come to an end and maybe your time with Kirstie is up.
When you say "she's what kirstie was at the start of the relationship" it reminds me of a relationship i was once in and learnt that people change, but thats a good thing, people around you and your relationships will always change, it just helps you to move on.
7 months isn't all that long and it's obviouisly not working long distance, I say give "A" a chance.
