Later at lunch time when we were playing football he suddenly stopped, went over to the girl and her friends and asked her out (she said yes) but now two weeks into term and shes still flirting with me and the other day they broke up although before i started they went out a couple times before. im kinda friends with the guy and his cool friends. I dont want them to hate me but i REALLy REALLY like this girl although there is another girl who i kinda like as well, shes popular but not all stupid and giggly like the others, shes pretty but my friend told me shes practically going out with another guy even tho she was really nice and i can be myself around her rather than the gorgeous girl who i feel kind of stupid around and ive started to notice flirts with other boys. What should I do????

I vote for the other girl. The popular one sounds like she has to have a lot of male attention and a little high maintenance. And I definitely wouldn't want to date anyone whom I feel stupid around. Plus, you're friends with this guy there's that unwritten rule you don't date your bud's ex unless he gives you the ok to. The other girl isn't officially taken so you could still ask her out, there's no harm in that.
