Hey

I was just wondering if anyone is allergic to latex condoms? Me and bf use durex extra safe and every time we use them I get a burning type feeling down there and it really makes sex not enjoyable. I think it may be an allergic reaction but im not sure! Does anyone have any ideas as to what it could be or allergic reaction to condoms feels like?

Thanks

People with latex allergies are nearly always allergic to bananas (this is why many medical forms ask about bananas...), are you allergic to banana's if so it's nearly certain.

Here's one link, but there are many...

Not My Name agony auntGet some non latex condoms and see if it makes a difference. Also if you use additional lubricant look for one that is hypoallergenic and more suitable for sensitive people.

EbonyBlossom agony auntHow much foreplay do you use? Maybe that is something to do with it - if you're not lubed up, that can also cause the burning sensation. Try fingering yourself whilst wearing a latex glove and see if that gives you a reaction.
