That's a great question. I am going through the exact same thing right now so I am actually searching for answers on here but I'll give you my opinion. My ex best friend meredith told me she was bi and i told her we can just be friends so she overreacted and told the whole school rumors about me. This is 6th grade im talking about right now. And so today I was leaving for school and when I got to the school I started crying hard today so my dad took me back home and I felt wimpy and vulnerable but my grandma gave me great advice telling me that if she were me she'd stay home too but its a good idea to stay home so that i can control my anxiety and think about what ill do tomorrow instead.

My advice to you though is come into school the next following day and act as if nothing shes done has gotten to you. I know people say don't fight fire with fire but you need to fight fire with fire sometimes if its necessary like in our cases. So go in school with ur next closest friend and laugh loudly when you are around ur "friend" it'll make her mad that the things she has done to you haven't made you angry yet or lose your cool

I hope this helped! :) I wish my advice would help me...good luck!

Teacake agony auntI'm much much older than you and I've had this happen recently as well. I was dating a man across the street and 2 people in my building decided to turn him against me. These people are in their 40s!

Its never easy. Its very nasty when people do this. The bet thing to do is just say hello to them, smile and go your own way. Find new friends who don't know these people and don't tell a lot of people about this otherwise you will seem like there is too much drama in your life.

I assume all kids have cell phones these days, so when you see them, pull the phone out and act like you have a very important and wonderful person to talk to. Maybe a nice boy here at dearcupid will send you a message at your myspace?
