reader, anonymous, writes (17 November 2008): Are you sure they don't like you? If you are giving out signals you are not interested then that could be why they stay away. Also some girls are shy.
It's interesting that you think your looks are driving people away. Have you talked to your friends about your looks? Or your family? There are all sorts of reasons people are attracted to each other and its not just looks. Sometimes it's similar interests or the other person being fun or all sorts of things.
If you're not looking, don't worry about it. Could be when you meet someone you like you might just click with them.
