writes:Hi well my problem is that i was going out with this boy but i dont want my mum knowing.i get driven evrywhere and havnt started using buses and i dont go out much with out my parent wich i should cause everyone else does in my yr and they are 1 yr younger than me.partly is because i am disabled but i can walk and everything!my mums never incuraged me too lol she syas buses are awful anyway thats basicly it!! more info : i went out with him in june 2007 for a week then i dumped him cuase i was too scared cause i didnt want friends and parents knowin and stuff and then this yr i went out with him for couple days then gave up.how can i work this out its too comlicated?gina

 tell your parents.TRUST ME, things are so much easier when your parents know things.i'm barely turning 17 and i'll be a senior and my parents are pretty strict.i started talking to them telling them about everything when i was a freshman and things have gotten so much better.start by just talking to them about guys in general. maybe the guy you like.just say you might want to start dating him...tell your mom that she can meet him (itll make her feel better knowing who her daughter is with)and if it really bothers her, have her go with you guys somewhere. like to the movies. she'll eventually get used to the idea of you having a boyfriend and will back off. if you have to, i guess go behind her back.but i dont suggest it, if she finds out then you'll probably never be able to see him again...hope that helped.good luck!

Look, go out with the boy and don't hide it unless you have to. I mean are you ashamed of him or something?
If you do end up going it behind the backs of your family, then just start taking buses or get your drivers licence.
