Hopeless Crush on a Childhood Friend

Question - (29 May 2013) 1 Answers - (Newest, 30 May 2013)
A female Canada age 26-29, anonymous writes:

There's this guy that lives a couple houses down my street. He's only one year older than me, and we used to play together all the time when we were much younger. I didn't see him around for the past few years, but since the past couple weeks I've seen him around, but always from afar. Today, I purposely walked by his house while he was mowing his lawn and smiled at him, then he smiled back. We both had our ear buds in with music, so I figured it would be pointless to try to make conversation. That smile he gave me has stuck with me all day, and I just can't stop thinking about him... But how can I catch his attention and spark up a conversation next time I cross him?

Next time you see him mowing the lawn, take him a cold drink and sit down and have a chat. Ask him what he's listening to and see what musical artists you have in common.

If you have a dog, ask him to stroll with you while you walk

the dog. Then ignore him and give him a chance to come looking for you. Boys like to be the one chasing the girl.
