writes: I'm on the Pill and have to take it at the same time each day (7pm UK time) However, I'm going away on holiday where the time difference is 3 hours ahead. So do I just take it at 7pm local time? Or at 10pm local time, which would be 7pm in the UK? Please help - I'm confused! :)

reader, anonymous, writes (5 June 2010): Take it at 10pm while you are away. Then at 7pm when you return home, so you are keeping the 24 hour cycle going. If you forget to take it, take one as soon as you remember and the next one at the proper time. If you get a bad stomach and you are sick or have the runs while you are away, remember the pill might not be so effective. So use a condom just to be extra safe if youre with your bf. If you dont have a bf but might have some "fun" while you are away, use condoms anyway, even though you are on the pill. All that aside, enjoy your hol and have a lovely time x
