writes:i have been with my boyfriend for 7 months now, i love him so much and he always tells me he loves me... but on 2 occasions, i went down on him and his penis smelt like sex, now im paranoid hes been sleeping with another girl then coming back to me. do i have the right to be paranoid about this? or am i just being silly for thinking this. i dont see how he would cheat as he never speaks to girls hes quite shy, all his friends also tell me how loyal he is and that he wont cheat no matter what. hes always with me aswell so im thinking he cant be chaeting, but why did it smell like that? its happend twice now, its playing on my mind and its making me feel upset, because i really love this boy. what do you think? is he cheating? or is it some medical condition? i really dont know what to think, and wouldnt ask him about this. please help

 That can be a sign of sexual activity. If his area smelled of another woman, then you should be concerned, but if it is cum-smelling, he simply may be masturbating.

He might have done it to take the edge off his excitement to last longer when he is with you....very flattering.

Even if he was sleeping with other people, his penis would not still smell of their vaginas by the time he was sleeping with you - unless he never ever washes - which would be gross... and unlikely. It sounds like his penis just smells of his penis - men smell pretty much the same as women - a little different - but it sounds to me that you just haven't got used to what a penis naturally smells like. If you think he is cheating on you, look for other signs, but don't use this as any kind of evidence. And be careful how you approach this because you could make him completely paranoid that his natural smell is unpleasant to you. If it continues to bother you - maybe suggest having a bath or shower together before you have sex.

reader, anonymous, writes (16 November 2009): make sure he changes his bedding frequently too as if he is sleeping in sexy sheets he wont be smelling too great. and yea the other guys are right guys do have distinct smells and it isn't always too nice, you could always suggest getting in the shower or bath together before you go to bed for fun, wash him yourself so you are satisfied (and so is he ;) ) and then you can go down on him when you just get out. when you get more comfortable you can just come out and tell guys things, or if you want to tell him asap without hurting him, just kick the convo up and use friends names instead of your own (just may be not ones he knows too)

so if you are sure and trust him then no reason to be worried...

That's how most guys are caught cheating. However, if you really don't think that he is (there isn't anything else that would lead you to believe that he's with another girl)and since he doesn't stray away from you too often, all it could be is that he's not showering after having sex with you then when he goes to have sex with you again, he still smells like it because obviously he hasn't bathed. OR, he just doesn't wash himself well enough in that area.
