Is he eating lots of garlic- that can be diabolic
But a more likely reason is the state of his teeth. Ask him how long is it since he saw the dentist? If ages discuss how important it is. Rotting teeth and sick gums (the ones that bleed every time teeth cleaned) can result in bad breat
Does he clean his teeth twice a day? And swish some Listerine in his mouth daily? That can lessen badbreath
A far more serious cause (and it can happen at many ages) is gall bladder problems and gall stones. That can be of mild to very serious, right through to life threatening. The Doctor will know the signs to look for.
