A female Taiwan age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Dear readers,

I don't know how can I read him.

My classmate is so hard to read. I know that he likes me then but I don't know what about now. I'm kind of unpatient. He was so shy around me but he is normally a cool guy. As we didn't talk much so I don't know if his feeling was the same. Cuz he didn't make much move. Long before I said to myself that I won't fall for him. Obviously that I do have some feeling for him, now. I heard from his friend (not directly) that he really likes me and he always take care of me so well.

Three days ago we have an electrocardiogram test and he was the subject. Me and other 2 friends together help him palpated the pulse for a heart rate. Normally from another boy in class is 74 per minutes but I got 96 from him. Too much I think, especially for an athlethic guy like him. And for the ECG it is a sharp curve but more frequent even compare to a girl. So he said to our friends that maybe someone around here had made him shaking. Anyway he walked around and avoided the eye contact with me and the heart rate was down for a bit. And it went like this for the rest of the test. I noticed that someone said will I know as some friend listened to his heart.

It is odd but I think I feel something. Though I know our relationship is hardly going to be true I still want it to be this way over and over. Maybe I was selfish. He said today that he still has a shoulder for me. I don't know if it was a joke or not but that time I was in a state of panic. It made me feel comfort unexplanable. I'm confused. It was almost like he didn't dare to make a move. Should I ignore him or play along? What should I do?

person12345 agony auntSounds like he might like you. Why don't you flirt with him and send him not so subtle hints that you like him? Or better, you could ask him out yourself.
