He's cleaned up his act, but sometimes his past behaviour still bothers me

A female Ireland age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I have been going out with my boyfriend for about 3.5years. For the first year of our relationship he flirted (quite inappropriately) quite a lot with a large number of girls, including ex's. It ended in a massive argument and since then he's grown up a lot and doesn't really text any girls much anymore and def does not flirt with any. He is very faithful now. Problem is, I keep torturing myself with the past and I don't think about it for months at a time then I'll have a really bad period of days where it's all I can think about and wonder why I wasn't enough. Will this ever go away? :( As you can guess, this is one of the down times.

Well he definitly gave you a good reason to lose trust with him, and that what if thought will probably never go away to be honest. If he has changed and you think he is faithful your just gonna have to live with it and trust him.
