I've noticed it's really common among women dating older men to say "Oh, they are SO much more mature than guys my age."I'm dating a guy 7 years older than myself (don't worry, it's all legal) and I don't think there has ever been a time where I thought "Hm, he's more mature than guys my age."I started dating him because he's sweet, and makes me laugh, and we have endless things in common...not because he's mature. But should he be? I mean, is there something wrong with him if he's not more mature than guys 7 years younger than him?Don't get me wrong, he's not IMMATURE, and he doesn't act like a kid, but I've never seen him in the context of an older, wiser man or anything. Is that weird?

If he does not have any goals for himself and he is in his late 20's, then I would be concerned as he may just not want to grow up and have adult responsibilities, I mean does he live at home with his parents and he is 27?

i don't think this is weird. you might not need to worry about that since he's not really "immature" though. he makes you happy and laugh, so are guys his age who are more mature than him not as fun? he might be acting less mature than he normally does around you since you are 7 years younger than him though (to keep things fun). i hope this helps! good luck!
