A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

Dear Hope,

I am 28 years old. I have been with my now husband for 2 months, we have been dating for 5 years prior to getting married. We have had issues in the past, I have gotten bored in the past and end up searching for attention from other men. I dont act on these temptations, I ussually just seem to like the attention. I dont if something is wrong with me or my marriage. I just seem to always be searching for attention from past lovers or new flings. Its not that I dont love my husband, I just feel the need to get attention from other men. Is something wrong? What can I do? I dont want to cheat on my husband, yet the way I talk to a previous lover, it gets me excited. You know the new relationship feeling that everyone yearns for, I love that and thrive on it. My marriage now is just comfortable. The sex is ok, maybe once a month and nothing to write home about. I need advice. Should I not have married my husband? Am I really lost? Please help!!!!

kellyO agony auntDear Anom,

It is apparent that your marriage wont work out if you continue to flirt with other men. For now you dont act the temptation but is pretty likely it is going to happen soon.

Yes something is wrong. You are married and shouldnt be flirting but instead work on your marriage. . The feelings or attention you thrive you should be able to get from your husband so do talk to him and seek counselling

All the best

Kelly

aunt honesty agony auntYou are addicted to the feeling of things being new and exciting and you are more than likely going to end up crossing the line and cheating if you dont get help soon, its part of your personality and you need to change it now before it wrecks your life and leaves you divorced and alone.

I suggest trying therapy once a week, they are there to help you its there job and they will be able to make you realise what needs to change in your personality and they will also make you realise what you will lose if you keep going the way you do. Goodluck
