Hey everybody!!! I really feel stupid. Because I'm 18 years old and I've been trying to get my GED for months now. I made it all the way to my senior year in high school, but I wasn't doin to good at the time. So I joined this program at school so I could walk wit my class. I took the test ( GED ) and I passed them all but I didn't score super high and I didn't take 1 because my dad didn't wanna take me. But every since then I've been tryin to pass that test and its also hard for me to get there to test because my parents don't think I should have joined the program, its goin on a year and I wanna start community college but I can because of this test. I feel soooo stupid and its also soooo embarrassing!!! I wanna give up sooo bad, sometimes. but I just took the test, and I'm so scared that I didn't pass it. I don't know what I would do. :(

SerenadeStarsRocks agony auntYour not stupid, no one is naturally, or generally stupid in todays world. Everyone including you captable of being smart.Im not that supportive of the GED test through, if you have one more year of high school finish it. Anyway thats not the case here.

*sighs* ever heard the saying "If you fail, try try again?" Don't give up! Study everyday, my mother took the GED test, she told me it wasn't that hard. A few algebra problems, fractions and crap like that. If someone horrble in the said areas, then it could be hard. Keep on taking the tests, try to get there, and study hard whenever you takes. Your efforts will counts off.

There is a saying- Hard work pays off in the long run.

Im sure you will pass the test soon.

Just keep on trying and believing.

You soon across that finish line =)

We all have times when we feel stupid, I won't burden you with all the mistakes I have made. I have to give you points for sticking with it even when your parents were very supportive. A little secret, how well you did in high school won't matter very much once you are accepted to college. You passed the other tests, you probably passed this one; don't stress. Go eat some ice cream and relax. If you didn't pass it you can always retake it. If you haven't already I would say look into the community college.

Best of wishes.
