When I got off from work, I come home and I am soo tired, and I am going to sleep 3 or 4 hours, then I do what I have to do in my home. The night comes and I can't sleep until sometimes 11 pm and when finally I am sleeping there is my alarm 2 am time to go to work.. I have been trying everything but is very hard for me to stay alert after work ( after 11 30 when I am in home) some times I feel like I am sleeping while I am driving to home, I know this is crazy but that happen to me. I know in this moment I can not change my schedule, maybe in the future for day shift...but for now I would like to have more quality hours of sleep. The last time I did a mistake at work and was very serious issue, my supervisor talked to me about it and I know all this thing is because I can not rest enough and I am having problems with my focus and my attention.Does anyone has any advice for me? Thanks.

I wish you could outright quit this job if they don't give you a day shift! It sounds like a true nightmare. I once had a nightshift job at a factory, 12 p.m. to 8 a.m. and it really ruined my life in terms of having any life outside of work - I would come home to a beautiful morning, wanting to enjoy it, but too tired, then conk out about 11 a.m. CAN you talk to your supervisor about shifting to day hours? If you had a serious mistake, you could explain that this would have never happened if you had had a day shift. It sounds like you need this job. You might get into a pattern where you can sleep more soundly when you do sleep. Also, if you feel sleepy after work, could you take a quick nap in the car before driving home? And/or get some coffee or something. Driving when exhausted they say can be as bad as drinking and driving! Could someone pick you up? Maybe you could change your hours slightly to make it a little easier?
That's all I can think of for now. Best wishes, Manya
