writes:My ex and I have not been together for over five years, and he was my first love, well my first everything to make it clearer. And now I have moved on and been with my fiancee for five years. We got together shortly after my ex and I broke up. But the catch is they are child hood friends. And in the five years that I have been away from him, well kinda. You see we are still friends. We talk everyday and text each other all the time. But recently he has been talking to me in a more flirting nature. And he tells me that it will always be us, that we will always have this bond between us that nobody can break cause so many have tired. And then he talks about wanting to sleep with me and always sends me dirty text messages, which I ignore, and when he thinks I have gotten mad over them, he says he was just joking. And at first it made me very angry, that he could talk to me like that and suppose to be friends with my fiancee. I even called him out on it, and he just said he would never act on it, just can't help but think about it. Then I realized soemthing one night when I wss talking to my best friend who was there for my entire relationship with him. And he told me something I had forgotten about. He told me that six years ago my ex told me that he will never completely let me go and that he will haunt me forever. And suddenly I wasn't mad anymore. I know it sounds weird but just knowing that he still has feelings for me is flattering. But when it comes down to it, he was right. He will haunt me for the rest of my life, cause even if I was never to talk to him, everywhere I go and everyone I meet has some sort of involment with him. And he always seems to come back in my life.
