writes: my boyfriend and i have been together now for a year, but it seems like all he wants is sex. i have been taking different birth control methods to eliminate cramping pain until recently my doctor put me on a pill where i dont have a period for 3 months. could this be affecting my sex drive or hormone levels? i feel like im not interested and thats all he wants.

reader, anonymous, writes (28 August 2006): Well of course. The pill is hormonal and does impact your body. Have you addressed this concern with a doctor?
Are you experiencing high stress? Do you eat properly? Do you get enough sleep? How is your relationship? Do you trust him? Do you love him? How do you see yourself? Do you consider yourself attractive?
I hope you talk to a doctor about this as the doc can better determine what the real issue is and help you sort that out.

 It is a possibiity that the pill you are taking has affected your sex drive. How is your relationship at the moment, are you happy? If you are not happy then talk to your partner and explain how you feel. I am sure if you talk with him he will understand how you are feeling, then if you dont want sex all the time, he will know why. I hope things work out. xXx
