I said I'd maybe join a little later, if I didn't have too much work. I did, but came when everyone except or tutor had left. She said that our only male classmate, Adam, whom I hardly ever even speak to, said that he was disappointed that I didn't come and that, "she's so cute I want to just bottle her up in a little flask!" My English tutor is well-known for her crazy streak, bizzareness and wittiness, but what the hell did that mean? I know it was probably said lightly, but could mean he thinks about me more than I realised? What does it mean when a guy finds you 'so cute he could bottle you up'? Reply to this Question Share |

Oh that's the whole "You're so cute I could just eat you alive" or "She's so sweet she gave me a toothache" kind of banality that shows maybe a light crush veiled by humor. Remember that your tutor passed the message, so it may have been slightly paraphrased by her.
I wouldn't worry about it unless you're interested in Adam. Pretend it never happened if you're not, and if you are, then talk to him a bit more, but don't bring it up.

Could mean he thinks you're adorable and cute like a little puppy. Or it could mean that he thinks you're hot. It's hard to tell. It might have been his way of admitting he has a little crush on you. Either way, I wouldn't over-think it.
