He wanted my number but never calls - I don't see why?

He told me he didnt want to be friends because I lumped him in with people in my past that hurt me but then talked to me for two and a half hours after he said that.

I changed my number so a week ago I text him asking if he would like my new number and he replies IMMEDIATELY

"yes you can call me again what is your new number" I told him I did not change it yet but he will get my new number when I do. So I change my number and let him know but he is ignoring my calls, texts etc. What the hell is going on here?

ugh I never dated him nor am I sngle. He liked me then got a gf then I liked him and now I have a bf and we were trying to be friends
