writes: Me and my boyfriend have been together for nearly 7 months. I love him alot. But he gets the impression my mum and dad do not like him. There has been times that my mum and him are standing at the front door and he is telling her what he thinks of her basically. And he egged my step dads van on halloween because my step dad jokes around calling him gay. It caused us to break for 2 days and now we are back to normal. I want to forget the past and get on with the future but i dont wont it 2 happen again. How do i prevent this? Reply to this Question

 If this guy give your mum verbal abuse and egges your step dad's van, I am not surprised they do not like him.
Your boyfriend is old enough to have some respect for older people and if he really wants to be with you, he will need to earn their respect, like it or not.
Your parents and your boyfriend will need a cooling off period, but he needs to apologize and prove he can be a bigger man, regardless if he was provoked or not.
