reader, anonymous, writes (19 February 2007): LEAVE. or ignore him- or step back and quit chasing and caring etc.. once he notices these behaviors of you- he will consider you disposalbe- once you start seeing yourself as someone worth time and commitment and care- and be independent- turn the tables on him- dont give him ANY attention- start going out on your own, do things for yourself not for him etc.. and he will start to wonder what happen and what he did wrong.. dont chase- turn a 360 and maybe he will chase you- otherwise just leave.. hes not worth your time..

He's seriously bad for your self esteem and once that's destroyed, its a long road to fix it again. Sit him down and tell him seriously that you wont tolerate that kinda crap whether its a joke or not. If he still thinks you're being over emotional, then you know what to do
