He likes me but doesn't want a relationship

Ok so I came out of a long time relationship of 3 years I broke up with him because it was getting to verbal abuse and its not worth it this was about 5 months ago, so I meet this new guy we both have a common friend so he requested me over facebook n there we started talking and all was going good and then he just stopped talking to me later like a month after he send me a message so we started talking again so we been talking for bout 2 months non stop but lately he's been weird yesterday he told me he really liked me but didn't want a relationship!! And that he was getting annoyed by me! Annoyed but why I haven't done anything to him so I exploded what should I do?should I stop talking to him?
