I followed your advice, and chased him up
It took him 3 attempts, but after a month of talking, and getting to know each other better than we already did (ive known him for 2 years) he asked me out :)
we've been together nearly 6 months, and I didnt know that i could be so happy with a guy :D
thanks for the advice

Depends. Two options.
A: He was trying to steal your wallet. Sneaky if stupid since girls don't have wallets.
B: He was reaching around you to steal your neighbours popcorn. What a loser.
Nah, I think he held you hand because he was scared. Wrapped his hands around you because he was afraid you were suffering from hypotermia and wanted to warm you up and stroked your hair because he has a secret desire to be a hair dresser.
Btw, the above is sarcasm. I point this out because you apprently suffer from the teen girl afflication of not being able to spot the bloody obvious.
He likes you ;)
