Though you might feel guilty, and i might too, just keep in mind that it takes awhile for guys to devolop, since us girls mature (lookwise) earlyer on. In high school a lot of guys are still going through growth spurts and thus be lankey or awkard, as well as their face still being a bit younge looking and starting to grow facial hair, etc. Also, the time you both were apart was probably used by him to refine his social skills, get a better understanding of who he is and what is views on life and the world are, and so forth.so i say go for it! I actually like dateing "geeks" (instead of jocks) because besides being inteligent, they are ussualy more careing and thoughfull. So get to know him, see if you guys are compatable, and don't worry about how you thought of him before, for you both have grown up so much in many diffrent ways since high school. Even if you guys don't end up dateing, you may just get a close and good friend, esspically since you both have the common ground have haveing been at the same school. and you don't have to tell him what you thought of him in highschool, but if he asks or it comes up, you can tell him and both have a good laugh! :0) have fun

No, sorry, I haven't dated any guys at all. lol
From a purely male point of view.....Go for it.
He obviousely found the need to improve his looks and that is a natural thing to do.
Look at the animal kingdom. In all or almost all cases the males must put on a showing to attract females or they don't get a mate. Whether it is strutting around with their feathers fluffed up or making particular noises while flapping their wings, Growling in a particular manner or what have you, the males have always needed to attract the females, although at least in the case of humans the good looks of the female helps the male to make a decision about which female he wants.
In any case don't worry about any guilt, just enjoy. Doc.
