A female reader, anonymous, writes (15 August 2010):

I agree with the other answer you received,as an ex maternity nurse it sounds to me as though you could have been suffering from Toxemia of pregnancy which is dangerous to the mum and unborn child,it is natural to have feelings of guilt after an abortion, but I am sure if there was any other way your doctors would have suggested it,try and be strong for the lovely child you have, but if it is too hard, please consider have some counselling which can help.Allow yourself to grieve it is natural.

Sending you Love.

A female reader, person12345 United States +, writes (6 August 2010):

person12345 agony auntIf you were that sick from just 7 weeks of pregnancy, do you really think you could have tolerated 9 months? You would have been miserable and more than likely you would have made yourself so sick that you would have affected the fetus. You did the right thing for you. There's nothing morally wrong with an abortion. You're just removing tissue, not a baby. You needed to do this for your own health. That's so much more important.
