I was shopping in Tesco last week and was asked out by a lad.He was so polite and friendly but Im such a very shy person that I got embarrassed instantly and told him I had a boyfriend(even though I dont). Now I regret it so much and wish I had taken his number something. All I know is his first name and he knows mine as he asked me and I told him.I live in a really small town but not sure I will meet him again.Does anyone have any ideas on how I could start to track this person down or am I in a no win situation?

Thanks for the answers, I will keep having a look when I go back to the store. A friend told me to try asking a security guard to see if they would give him my number incase they happened to see him but how am i meant to describe him (other than on cctv) and dont you think that may be taking the issue too far???

duskyrowe agony auntSupermarkets are a pretty good places to check out single guys, but don't beat yourself up about turning him down, I mean he did put you on the spot. If hypothetically you do bump into him again, smile and say hello, if you get a positive response ask for his phone number. That way it puts you in control of the situation whether to call/text him or not then when you do contact him your number will come up on his, so that way you can leave the ball in his court to get in touch. Good luck hun xx
