A male United Kingdom age 51-59, *risey writes:

I'm 38 and still so so confused! A lot of relationship/dating advice I have seen, says "Be the bad boy, dont be a wuss" So now what? Leave it a few hours before answering her text messages etc? She seems to be pulling away from me, of course I dont want that and have asked her today how things are, she says there is nothing Major wrong. I have been really nice to her, kind and sensitive. But Im not sure how to about getting her back interested in me??

A female reader, Tigerlily United States +, writes (25 November 2009):

Just be yourself. Nobody wants to play games, and if you are being yourself and she's losing interest, then she's not the girl for you. If she's pulling away then take the hint and give her some space. The worst thing you can do is pressure her and chase her around. That will only drive her away more.
