Do you get over-anxious at the best of times? Such over anxious feelings can lead you to needlessly doubt yourself. Performance anxiety is a regular event for some men who don't relax easily at the best of times. And performance anxiety is really common in people who worry that they 'may not do as well as they want to'. If so learn relaxation techniques and practise good breathing techniques so anxiety does not get the better of you. Did you adore the girl in question or was she just an available girl? You may have been 'put-off' by a girl in someway or had second thoughts about having sex with her for some reason . Or you may have felt uneasy or threatened in some way if she was far more confident, and sexually demanding a girl, than you could cope with at the time. If so remember practise and time should improve that situation. Are you fit and healthy? Do get yourself checked medically. Do you have asthma that may affect your breathing? Could a breathing difficulty affect your erection? Ask the doctor. There could be a vascular issue, even though you are young. Is there any medication you need to take that could be affecting you? Men who take beta blockers often find it affects an erection, for some men, though i doubt you would be on them. Ask the Doctor. Or are there any illicit drugs you are taking that could affect you badly? Ask the doctor. Had you been drinking alcohol to excess at the time? This can negatively affect an erection. How about when you masterbate? Get to know how you react and what stimuli affect during that. If you hold the erection during masterbation then try to recall what was happening previously when you did lose your erection during sex with a person. Were you burdened by guilt in any way - guilt can be such a wasted emotion, sometimes not valid, and sometimes valid. Guilt could affect you if there was something that made you feel not OK. Such as making love to a woman who you knew you should not be making love to, if she was married to another, for example. Were you in a safe place away from any possibility of interuption.

You would have to give a bit more context - eg are you talking about one or more than one sexual partner ? ; how long was it since your last erection \ successful penetration ? have you had enjoyable penetrative sex with the same partner either side of the floppy episodes ? and so on......

When you masturbate, what do you most often think about ?
