A female Ireland age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hey i need some advice. Ive really liked my best friend, well one of them for some time now. Things werent always great but just recently we've started going out with others and they've noticed how hes been behaving. And its not till recently hes actually showed he liked me. For example cuddling me, randomly hugging me and holding my hand.

The thing is we dont talk. I know that sounds stupid but hes kind of quiet anyway and will talk alot more in person than via text. Infact he never talks via text. These past times we;ve met up have been great however hes only done stuff when ive just playfully hugged him or something and once when i got upset it went abit far. But people have noticed how shy he is with me and i myself am shy but the thing is he will only do stuff if i do. However as i am not 100% certain that he wants me i dont have the courage to do anything. i could never ask out right i just want to get us back into the situations we;ve been in to see if it can develop. But how can i do this?

Its also shown that when it comes to it, he doesnt have much confidence. Hes fine with everyone but he just goes quiet when it comes to me.

Entirely Unique agony auntTry testing the waters with a little flirting, find ways to put yourself into situations where it could easily become something and see how he reacts from that.

You've admitted he's shy so you might have to do something yourself as he may never will.
