writes: me and my girlfriend have been going out for almost a year now. we love each other. and we our falling in love. but she always talks about feeling trapped and wanting to go with someone else. she is so confusing.we can be together. and then next thing you know she is like i dont want to be with you. one day she is like oh i love you i want to be with you forever. and then the next she is all. fuck you i hate you leave me alone. and i dont do anything to her. im always there. i treat her like a queen. but yet she is always being a bitch to me. and i always take it.beacause i feel like the negative things she says. she doesnt mean. but now im getting fed up. so what should i do?

reader, anonymous, writes (18 August 2009): She (and you) is a typical teen girl. She changes her mind as often as she changes her socks....she isn't fully mature either physically, neurologically, or emotionally and she isn't always going to know for sure what she wants to do or if she is even making the right choices.
This isn't personal, she is just a teenager, I am sure she likes you a great deal, but she also needs her freedom.
I think it is great to date many people, not one at this age so that you have time to mature and get to know yourself better and what you want out of life outside of being part of a couple.
