i'm just takign a wild guess but these girls sound asif maybe their the "popular" ones and if you were like me you've chosen your friends wisely when in school and have dodged all the attention you would get from being "popular" IF you want her get her don't give up without trying, if you have to pluck up the courage and just go to her when all her mates are there and ask to speak to her alone quickly if that don't work, how about trying to walk her home unless she is picked up?.

reader, anonymous, writes (3 January 2006): I would try and talk to her without her friends being around. Maybe you can write her a letter or email her. Tell her how you feel but avoid saying things that could be considered "stalker-ish". If she really likes you back, she will ignore what her friends think. Good Luck.
