A male Ireland age 30-35, anonymous writes:

My best friend has always claimed to be straight and that gay people disgust him. I am bi and have had a crush on him for some times. But, there are times when we have some heart felt conversations or other times when we are messing around and get really close, But, every time we begin get closer then "just friends" he shuts me out completely. I think the idea of that scares him. What should I do.

Confront him about his sexuality. But try to make him feel comfortable answering the question. You could try to turn him on and see what happens.
