It is not selfish to desire that your fiance spend time with you, especially within the precursor to marriage--a time when you are contemplating the permanency of your relationship. Though, it is important that each person in the relationship receive enough space to be their own person. Time apart can be good because it allows you to be you and escape the taxing role of being a partner to someone. As long as your fiance isn't spending so much time away that it makes you question the strength of your bond together I would suggest letting him do his thing rather than driving him away with dependency. Take it as an opportunity to find more things you enjoy to do and build the strength of your own individuality, which is in all an attractive attribute. Otherwise, if his time away from home is becoming excessive and leading you to feel that your relationship is threatened it may be a good idea to speak with him about including you in his hobbies before asking that he abandon them.
