Unfortunately, often guys will have sex for physical satisfaction with no strings atached; where as women are more emotionally wired and often see and feel emotions attached to having sex with a guy.
I think you should not read to much into the fact that you were "sleeping" together.
I suggest you talk to him and establish where you are standing and clear the situation without making assumptions because you were "sleeping together.

anyway, he must like you to have slept with you unless, your a rebound(no affence)he may still be very confused and upset over his ex if this is the case be carefull not to get hurt, and you probly never did stop liking him.
