writes: Hi, so in my last year of high school, a new science teacher joined the school and obviously i thought about him as much as any other teacher. Which was almost never. He never taught me, only the lower sets. And he hardly ever talked. However, i visited the school about two months ago and we really hit it off. We even went out for dinner one night. But nothing has happened since. Im 20 and he's 38. When i went back to uni he was all i could think about. What i want to know ... is it illegal to date him, even though he wasn't technically my teacher? What should i do?

I don't see the problem? Unless he is married.
You are 20 and not his student, not even attending the school he works at.

No it is not illegal to date him as long as you are no longer a student at that school. You have left school now and you are a young adult so you are free to do as you like. But it still might be frowned upon by some people, but just follow your own mind and don't listen to anybody else.
