reader, anonymous, writes (14 February 2006): It can be saved. But there has to be a willingness on both parts to save it. I don't think that there is ANY problem in a relationship that can't be healed, or worked out. We are all human beings, and if we are to be one hundred percent honest in a relationship with one another, we need to recognize that we'll go through periods of ups and downs. I think that even with love there is hate, and other emotions that caught up. The real test of love will be how you work out, and what extent you will go through. When you got married you said till death do you part right? Well I believe that for better or worse, if you stick to that philosophy, it'll work out better in the end. I find that when me and my wife fight, or take time apart, it is usually working through this that makes our relationship stronger. Solving problems in a relationship is natural, and is one of the best ways to get closer to one another.
