Due to her being away we can only talk until she returns in September. How can I get her off my mind while she's away?

I recently went on a few dates with a girl I like. She is going away for two months and agreed we could pick up where we left off in September.

I told her the long hiatus would be difficult for me, and she agreed we could talk over this time.

I know I'm more interested than she is, but there is definite potential there and I am willing to wait.

I guess I just need some advice going forward. How can I avoid thinking about her too much, and what would a healthy level of communication be?

I have a lot going on in my life currently and have to focus on work and avoid being too caught up in this.

Just don't be coming on too strong, you haven't known each other all that long so actually talking every day would be over the top. Why not message/email every 3-4 days and call her every fortnight? Then you will.actually have substantial things to talk about with each other.
